Kettlebars put the core into a high velocity environment, building explosive power and whole body coordination. This class is designed to challenge your overall strength, balance and endurance.
Summer Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This style of yoga flows through its sequences and postures It is designed to heat the body through linking the movement from one posture to the next. Sun Salutations are a major vehicle of movement. Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga are its influences. This rejuvenating body-mind practice cultivates inner and outer strength. This class is open to all levels, keeping in mind that it is designed to flow and challenge the body and mind.
Summer Mat Level 2
Level 2 is appropriate for those with some experience in Pilates or Yoga and who have a foundation of core connection already. Newcomers to pilates can come into this class provided they have no injuries or conditions that they are not comfortable working with.
Summer Mat Level 2/3
Level 2/3 is appropriate for those with a good foundation in Pilates, as the class will flow more than previous levels. This class is meant to be challenging, while still being accessable to most people.
Summer Mat Level 3
Level 3 is meant to challenge you in every way - building strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance, while still focusing from the inside out. This level is appropriate for those with a solid foundation of Pilates and who want to be challenged.
Stretch, Breathe, Meditate
The power trio that everyone needs to do, but doesn't take the time to do! This 1-hour class starts with 30 minutes of stretching, and then dives into practicing different yogic breathing techniques (Pranayama) that will strengthen the heart, lungs, core, cleanse the body of toxins, increase vitality, and sharpen the mind. The body is then completely prepared for meditation. Each week will have a different style of practice, but for all, the purpose is to give time and space for increased presence and connection to self. This class will refuel your body, mind, and spirit in every way.
Summer Equip Level 2
Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair. This level is appropriate for those who have some experience on the equipment, but who are still developing their core connections. Also for those who have injuries that need to be managed in a controlled way.
Summer Equip Level 2/3
Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair. This level is meant to be more of a physical challenge, while still being accessible to most people. The class will flow more than lower levels, challenging endurance, coordination, and core connection. Previous experience on the equipment is a must.
Summer Equip Level 3
Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair.This level is appropriate for those who have strong experience on the equipment, as the class will have more flow, challenge strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination in all ways. Challenging physically and mentally.
Summer Equip Level 4
Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair.This is our most challenging level, appropriate for those who have strong experience on the equipment, as the class will have more flow, will challenge strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. A definite challenge for the body and mind!
