Shannon Shea

Shannon was first introduced to Pilates in 2000 whilst studying at the Melbourne college of natural medicine. Having suffered chronic back pain for years with no avail , until Pilates.
Shannon is trained in both mat and equipment. She also has her 200 and 500 hr yoga teacher trainings. She actively teaches both Pilates and yoga and guest teaches on several yoga teacher trainings.
She loves being a mother , travelling the world and all things health and well being.


Shannon Shea instructs the following:
  • Summer Equip Level 2/3
  • Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair. This level is meant to be more of a physical challenge, while still being accessible to most people. The class will flow more than lower levels, challenging endurance, coordination, and core connection. Previous experience on the equipment is a must.

  • Summer Equip Level 3
  • Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair.This level is appropriate for those who have strong experience on the equipment, as the class will have more flow, challenge strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination in all ways. Challenging physically and mentally.

  • Summer Equip Level 2
  • Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair. This level is appropriate for those who have some experience on the equipment, but who are still developing their core connections. Also for those who have injuries that need to be managed in a controlled way.

  • Summer Mat Level 2/3
  • Level 2/3 is appropriate for those with a good foundation in Pilates, as the class will flow more than previous levels. This class is meant to be challenging, while still being accessable to most people.

  • Summer Equip Level 1
  • Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair.This level is appropriate for those who have never used the equipment before and/or who have injuries/conditions that they need to be mindful of and move at a pace that allows the body to learn a new way of moving.   • Summer Mat Level 3
  • Level 3 is meant to challenge you in every way - building strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance, while still focusing from the inside out. This level is appropriate for those with a solid foundation of Pilates and who want to be challenged.

  • Summer Mat Level 2
  • Level 2 is appropriate for those with some experience in Pilates or Yoga and who have a foundation of core connection already. Newcomers to pilates can come into this class provided they have no injuries or conditions that they are not comfortable working with.

  • Summer Mat Level 1
  • Level 1 classes are appropriate for those new to Pilates or Yoga, and who may have imbalances in the body that are best suited to working methodically from the foundation upwards. Start a brand new way of being in your body! Refer to our website or contact the studio for more information.
