Kara Botelho

Kara became interested in pilates in the mid 2000’s because of her love of fitness, and to mend a back injury.  While working as a full time personal trainer, she decided to pursue this new passion and trained under the tutelage of Tracy Friesen, entering into teaching in 2011.  She believes pilates can enhance anyone's life, from the serious athlete to the average person.

Kara Botelho instructs the following:
  • Fall Gravity Strap/Kettlebar
  • Our unique design in suspension exercise! The gravity straps allow you to work with your own body weight to create functional, overall fitness and power. Kettlebars put the core into a high velocity environment, building explosive power and whole body coordination. This class is designed to challenge your overall strength, balance and endurance.

  • Fall Eq Level 1/2
  • Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair. This class is appropriate for new and experienced pilates students who want to work at a careful pace. Please refer to the studio website for more information.

  • Fall Eq Level 2/3
  • Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair. This level is meant to be more of a physical challenge, while still being accessible to most people. The class will flow more than lower levels, challenging endurance, coordination, and core connection. Previous experience on the equipment is a must.

  • Fall Equip All Levels
  • Pilates Equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, the Cadillac, and the Chair. This level is appropriate for those who have never used the equipment before and/or who have injuries/conditions that they need to be mindful of and move at a pace that allows the body to learn a new way of moving. Please refer to our website or contact the studio for more information.

  • Fall Lunch Equipment (45 min)
  • This class is appropriate for those with experience on the equipment, as it is a faster paced class due to the shorter length (45 min) to accommodate a lunch break. Pilates equipment classes use the Universal Reformer, Cadillac, and Chair.
